Rebranding Myself And The QSC 2.O

  • CevherShare

Quick Start challengeHey there friend,

Welcome to my first ever blog post on this new blog. I am not new to blogging I have actually been blogging since 2011. Check out my original blog here. I started blogging when it was relatively easy to get your content ranked into the search engines.

Now with all of the Google updates there is a little more work to be done when it comes to ranking your blog content.

Anyhow, the reason I have set up this new blog is basically because I am going through a rebranding process. My journey as an internet marketer has bought me to this stage today. You can learn where I came from and how I got to where I am today by reading about me here.

My journey thus far has been an emotional and confusing rollercoaster. Over the first several years I struggled, yes I said several years. Lol

From 2007 till 2012 I struggled and lost a hell of a lot of money. It’s only since April 2012 that I started making money online and succeeding. Now I’m not going to come out and tell you I earned hundreds of thousands of dollars since this time because I haven’t.

I have however been able to make a good residual income have $1625 days, travel the world every three months and move from an apartment into my very first house with my family.

This is not all solely from blogging, I also market on Facebook and love video marketing and have dabbled in a little paid marketing.

Although blogging has been my biggest asset to date, People don’t realize the power of owning their own blog.

A blog is a marketer’s virtual home. This is where you can add your thoughts, emotions and ideas and share them with the world. I have learned over the years people do not care about your company or what you are promoting.

Rebranding & Quick Start Challenge Video

If you are adding enough value to the market place and helping people get what they want, this is what makes people join YOU.

People join people they know, like and trust.

Personal Development Rocks

I am always in the process of bettering myself. I am always watching self help videos on YouTube, listening to inspiring audios and reading self help, inspiring books.

I now believe in putting only good, relevant information into my mind. Information that helps me create a better version of myself and to live abundantly.

I am learning how to communicate better by reading, listening and associating. If you are not doing this in your life or business then start today. Your success depends on the way you think.

If you change the way you think, you will change your future.

Over the past couple of years I have learned more and more about the law of attraction and how the universe works.

I will not go into this in this post as this post is just an introduction to my new blog and why I have launched it.

Why The Ronin Blogger???

Why have I branded myself The Ronin Blogger “The Masterless Warrior”?

I was thinking for some time of rebrand myself as I didn’t want to follow the crowd and get lost in the noise on the internet. I just couldn’t think of a great name or what to rebrand myself as.

I came across a marketer a few months ago called Josh Zamora, he is a great guy and marketer. I have bought several of his products. Josh calls himself Zamurai blogger. I thought this was cool but I still couldn’t think of anything.

Then I remembered a movie I watched years ago called Ronin, a Robert Deniro movie and I recalled in the movie a guy was painting little model samurai warriors and he was explaining to Robert Deniro the meaning of Ronin which is a masterless samurai warrior.

I felt this fitted me perfect as I have no master or boss telling me what to do and when to do it.

Apart from my wife of course. Lol

On a serious note, I have never liked being told what to do and I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit.

This industry is the perfect fit for myself. I am now creating my own future and rely on no one for my success but me.

As I was in the process of rebranding myself I received an email from Josh about a new JVZoo product. I watched the interview he did with a guy called Dean Holland.

I’ve never heard of Dean before but he seems like a cool sincere guy from the UK. He has had his struggles in the past and is now very successful in his online business.

Dean has put together a course called “The Quick Start Challenge“.

The only reason I purchased this course was to see what other successful marketers are up to that are not involved in what I am personally involved in and as I am also making my person training platform for my subscribers to help them succeed as much as I can, I wanted to see what Dean had put together so I could take some ideas from it.

We are currently on the second week of Dean’s Quick Start Challenge and so far I am loving what I see and can see he is a great marketer. I am getting lots of ideas from what he is doing to help me propel my own business.

I am always looking to better my own business so I am going to see the Quick Start Challenge to the end.

The challenge is put together for people that have earned little to no money and starts with the basics like setting up your own blog and branding yourself online.

“Even though I have earned tens of thousands of dollars myself online this is a process I already know about and understand how powerful it is.”

I enjoy learning off all kinds of marketers and this is an industry where you will never stop learning. Not every marketer knows everything about marketing. There are always new methods, strategies and techniques hitting the market place and I like to keep my knowledge up to date.

I also like to keep my list up to date with what I learn so if you would like to become a subscriber of mine and get free information then you can subscribe to my newsletter here.

I appreciate it if you made it this far as I know this post was a bit lengthy. I just wanted to explain to the world what I am doing and why.

I would appreciate your support in my new blog. If you have made it to the end of this post then I really appreciate your time.

I see you are quite at home in front of the camera so week 2 challenge is no big deal.

I like the way you have your site put together and your honest, friendly personality.

Paul Evans says:

Making video gets easier over time Darren, you will start to feel more comfortable the more you take action and make videos.

Thanks for your kind words. Really appreciate you 🙂

Jamie says:

Excellent Paul. I can tell this isn’t your first video. How long have you been doing videos? You sound like you have mastered the art of making videos. Do you still have your first video? It would be nice to see how much you have improved. Give us video newbies some hope. :)…. well done … I will be back

Paul Evans says:

Hi Jamie, thanks for checking out my blog.

Unfortunately I haven’t got my first video but I do actually recall making my first video. It was a video for my lead capture page back in 2010. I joined a marketing system and was branding myself.

I was well out of my comfort zone but I knew I had to do it. I remember it taking me about 20 to 30 attempts. I remember asking someone on Facebook what they thought of the video and they said they can tell I was reading off a script but I actually wasn’t. I had that many attempts I knew the words off by heart and I don’t think I blinked once. lol

My nerves had the better of me but now I am fine. The more you take action the more it will become natural to you. You will start talking subconsciously without having to think about what to say. As long as you know what the topic is you are going to talk about it will come easy to you.

Phil Berkun says:

Hey, hey, Paul! You’re off to a fast start, guv. You’ve got quite an impressive WordPress site, too. Clearly you’ve put a lot of effort and thought into this. I’m in the same club with you of having wandering for years in the online desert. Good on ya for standing out from the crowd, and very best wishes for your every success. PS: The waving GIF above the request for comments is brilliant.

Paul Evans says:

Thanks for your kind words Phil.

Struggling is a natural process for entrepreneurs in this industry. There is a massive learning curve if you are trying to do it alone. Stick around like minded people and follow what the leaders say and you will become a leader.

You are already successful as you are already going through the process.

Keep it up buddy 🙂

Guy Martin says:

Hi Paul,

Let me start out by saying when I saw the name Ronin in your title, I instantly recalled that same movie but had forgotten it’s warrior implication.

As someone who also blogs a bit, I enjoyed your post and video.

Your site looks good and wish you the best success.

I’m off to practice making my first video. Hope you have the opportunity to see it when it’s done.

Paul Evans says:

Hey Guy,

Thanks for taking the time to go through my post. I will definitely check out your video when you cut it. You will soon get comfortable making your videos. I know it is stepping outside your comfort zone but you will soon get comfortable being uncomfortable.

Video is very powerful, you will kill it 🙂

Hi Paul,

Just to say congratulations. Your video is great and you come across as personable and approachable. I wish you all the best with your plans.

I’d like to follow and learn from you, as I’m a Newbie to this online marketing world. My own QSC blog effort is the web link included with this comment.
